Introductory Flight - $149 Have you been up in a helicopter? Come fly with us in a helicopter with a Certified Flight Instructor for 30 minutes. You will have an opportunity to take the controls and fly the helicopter. The instructor will talk you though some basic maneuvers such as turns, climbs, and descents. You will also get to experience hovering, something that has been compared to riding a unicycle while juggling cats. (not that we would suggest anyone take up cat juggling, it is just a comparison.) Even if you have been up in a helicopter before, if you have yet to take the controls and fly it yourself, you have to experience it to appreciate it. You can log the time during the discovery flight towards your ratings, if you choose to continue with your training.
